Job description

We’re looking for a Manager of Software Engineering to lead cross-functional teams building scalable SaaS products. This hybrid role (Alpharetta, GA office one day/week) blends hands-on technical leadership with people management - you’ll drive execution, grow engineering talent, and champion a “you build it, you own it” culture where teams own their systems end-to-end. What You’ll Do Lead and grow full-stack engineering teams delivering features using .NET, Angular/React, and AWS Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and technical ownership Drive delivery across multiple initiatives, aligning engineering with product goals Partner with product managers to refine backlogs and prioritize work Coach and mentor engineers, supporting career growth Support hiring and onboarding as the team scales

Requirements

Participate in architecture reviews, favoring sound, scalable decisions Tech Stack: .NET/C#, Kotlin/Java, Angular, React, TypeScript, AWS (SQS, SNS, S3, EventBridge, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM), PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Redis, Kafka, Kubernetes/containers, CI/CD What You’ll Bring 2+ years managing software engineering teams in an agile environment 6+ years hands-on engineering experience, ideally with .NET and modern JS frameworks Strong grasp of full-stack SaaS architecture, CI/CD, and cloud-native development Track record delivering software with cross-functional partners Experience leading distributed/remote-first teams Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder skills Nice to Have: AWS/public cloud experience; observability tools (Datadog, App Insights); microservices/event-driven/domain-driven design; multi-tenant SaaS experience; secure development practices What Sets You Apart: You lead with calm confidence, balance delivery with team health, champion engineering excellence pragmatically, and create space for autonomy and accountability.
