Job description
Kforce has a client in Chicago, IL that is seeking a Reporting Dashboard Engineer., * Design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools
- Build and optimize data models, semantic layers, and reporting datasets to support business and regulatory reporting needs
- Perform complex SQL development, data analysis, validation, and reconciliation activities
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable reporting solutions
- Support ETL/ELT processes and data integration activities across multiple source systems
- Develop and implement data quality controls and reporting governance standards
- Create KPIs, metrics, scorecards, and executive-level dashboards
- Troubleshoot reporting issues and perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies
- Support testing, implementation, and production deployment activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 6+ years of experience in BI reporting, analytics, dashboard development, or data engineering
- Advanced SQL skills with experience working with large, complex datasets
- Strong experience with Power BI and/or Tableau
- Experience with dimensional modeling, data warehousing concepts, and star/snowflake schemas
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration processes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Financial Services, Banking, Capital Markets, or Risk Management experience
- Exposure to regulatory reporting, risk reporting, or data governance initiatives
- Experience with modern cloud data platforms such as Azure, Databricks, Synapse, Fabric, Snowflake, or similar technologies
- Knowledge of data quality controls and reporting governance best practices

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
