Application Engineer

The Application Engineer job is a technical job to manage day-to-day operations in data centers in all service delivery scenarios, primarily in regards to service requests, changes, incident and problem resolutions, and facilitation of second-line support.

Application Engineer works closely with IT Stack, Database Engineers, and development teams in order to grant service running with high performance and improve current processes by participating to new release deployments or implementing automation solutions.

Responsabilities:

Installation and deployment of software applications developed by R&D team from same company to the different environments (test and production)

Automate application installation and process continues improvement by using ansible, Docker and Kubernetes technologies.

Troubleshoot application incidents and coordinate with other teams in case of data base, infrastructure or software issues.

Trigger problem tickets regarding monitoring and event management.

Perform needed or on demand health checks of services/solutions

Provide input regarding future and continuous needs in regards to new investments to maintain existing and future services to Data center Manager.
