Job description
- Work closely with product owners and business analysts to turn business needs into cohesive, customer-centric Pega solutions.
- Lead the design, architecture and development of scalable, high-performance Pega applications.
- Advocate for best practices and quality to fully leverage Pega’s potential.
- Identify Pega feasibility limits early in the agile development process to reduce risk.
- Align with your peer architects on cross-team technical strategies and drive decision-making.
- Mentor and support other engineers to help them grow their technical skills and confidence.
- Foster a positive and supportive team culture, encouraging open communication and collaboration.

Requirements
- Pega certification: You have successfully obtained certification as a Lead System Architect (LSA). Or you have the Senior System Architect (SSA) certification, but you think you already perform on an LSA level.
- Software development: Several years of hands-on experience building and delivering software solutions, including at least 3-4 years of experience in Pega application development.
- Technical versatility: You have experience working with a diverse set of technologies like application servers, programming languages, web technologies, relational and non-relational databases, and API integration methods.
- Object-oriented expertise: Knowledge and practical experience with Object-Oriented techniques and design principles.
- Agile methodologies: Demonstrated success delivering solutions using Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Soft skills: Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with other engineers, designers, product owners, business analysts, and architects.
- Leadership & mentorship: Experience leading and mentoring teams of developers fostering their professional growth and development.
- Language skills: Proficiency in German & English.
