Data Warehouse Architect 5 - Solutions Architect

Lead the design and modernization of an enterprise data platform supporting data, analytics, and machine learning initiatives. This role focuses on defining target-state architecture, establishing governance and security standards, and guiding enterprise adoption of modern cloud-based data technologies.

What You’ll Do

• Design and maintain enterprise data platform architecture aligned with business strategy.
• Develop target-state data architecture, reference architectures, and architecture patterns.
• Lead architecture reviews and manage architectural exceptions.
• Guide enterprise data warehouse and analytics modernization initiatives.
• Establish data governance, metadata, quality, and security frameworks.
• Partner with engineering, analytics, security, and business stakeholders on roadmap initiatives.
• Support evaluation and selection of enterprise data platform technologies through RFI/RFP processes.
• Drive innovation through proof of concepts and collaboration with technology vendors.

• BS in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related CS degree.
• 5+ years of enterprise data architecture and data strategy experience.
• Experience using TOGAF, FEAF, DODAF, or similar enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Experience developing reference architectures and conducting architectural reviews.
• Experience with Enterprise Data Platforms, Data Lake, Data Warehousing, and data governance.

• Experience leading enterprise cloud data platform procurement (RFI/RFP) initiatives. Preferred Qualifications

• Databricks and Delta Lake experience.
• SQL, Python, R, and Java.
• NoSQL, GraphDB, Operational Data Stores, Data Marts.

• Power BI and Tableau.
