Job description

Seeking an experienced Data Platform Architect / Data Warehouse Architect to lead the design and modernization of enterprise data platforms. The role will focus on developing data strategies, target-state architectures, reference architectures, and architecture standards while supporting Data, Analytics, and ML initiatives. Responsibilities:

Lead Data Architects and collaborate with Enterprise Architects on data strategy, data landscape, and target-state architecture.
Develop Reference Architectures, Architecture Patterns, standards, and best practices.
Conduct architecture reviews and manage architectural exceptions.
Architect modern Enterprise Data Platforms (EDP) supporting Data, Analytics, and ML products.
Design solutions using Data Lakes, Delta Lakes, Data Warehouses, Databricks, and cloud data services.
Lead RFI/RFP processes, technology evaluations, vendor selection, and POCs.
Establish standards for data governance, security, quality, metadata, and compliance.
Support modernization of legacy data warehouse and analytics environments.
Collaborate with engineering, analytics, security, business, and vendor teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Architecture and Data Strategy.
Experience with TOGAF, FEAF, DODAF, or similar architecture frameworks.
Experience developing Reference Architectures and Architecture Pattern Libraries and conducting architecture reviews.
Experience with Enterprise Data Platforms, cloud data architecture, and Data/Analytics/ML solutions.
3+ years of experience with RFI/RFP processes, technology/vendor evaluation, and selection.
