Job description

We’re looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Reporting function and play a key role in delivering high-quality management information, dashboards and analytical insight across Mortgage Services.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong technical BI skills with commercial thinking and stakeholder management. You’ll work with colleagues across the business to understand what the data is telling us, identify trends and opportunities, and develop reporting solutions that support better, faster and more informed decisions.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll take ownership of regular and ad-hoc business reporting, producing accurate and timely daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly management information.

Using Power BI, SQL Server, Excel and other reporting tools, you’ll develop and enhance dashboards, reports and automated reporting solutions that make complex information accessible and actionable.

You’ll also:

  • Analyse operational and performance data to identify trends, variances, risks and opportunities

  • Monitor and report on KPIs, SLAs and customer outcomes

  • Work with stakeholders and clients to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective solutions

  • Validate and reconcile data across multiple systems, investigating data quality issues and ensuring reporting is accurate and consistent

  • Identify opportunities to automate and improve reporting processes

  • Support forecasting, capacity planning and operational performance modelling

  • Provide analytical insight for projects, business change and process improvement initiatives

  • Support regulatory, compliance and audit reporting

  • Maintain robust reporting documentation, data definitions and controls

  • Present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Share your knowledge and provide guidance and support to junior colleagues

Requirements

You’ll already have experience working within Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or Management Information, with a strong track record of producing reporting that helps businesses understand performance and make better decisions.

You’ll bring:

Strong Power BI experience - building effective dashboards, reports and management information

SQL / T-SQL knowledge - with confidence working with large and complex datasets

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills - with the ability to manipulate, analyse and clearly present data

Strong analytical thinking - able to move beyond reporting the numbers to explain what they mean and why they matter

Excellent attention to detail - with a strong focus on data quality, accuracy and reporting controls

Great stakeholder skills - comfortable gathering requirements, challenging constructively and explaining technical information in plain English

A delivery-focused mindset - able to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-client environment

Even better if you have…

Experience within mortgage servicing, banking, financial services or another regulated environment would be particularly valuable.

Knowledge of the mortgage industry, FCA requirements and Consumer Duty principles would also be advantageous, as would experience with Business Objects, SSRS, SSIS, data warehouses, data governance, VBA, Tableau, Qlik or Alteryx.

Experience in forecasting, capacity planning or operational performance improvement would be another plus.

Benefits & conditions

You’ll become a trusted analytical partner to teams across Mortgage Services, helping stakeholders understand performance, challenge assumptions and make evidence-based decisions.

You’ll have the opportunity to improve how reporting is delivered, increase automation, strengthen data quality and controls, and create insight that has a genuine impact on operational and customer outcomes.

Why BCMGlobal?

At BCMGlobal, you’ll be more than a Litigation Officer - you’ll be part of a collaborative team where your skills are valued, and your growth is championed. We offer:

  • Life assurance x4 salary
