Job description

  • Architect, engineer and deliver large-scale datacentre network infrastructure supporting HPC environments
  • Design and build network fabrics with a focus on scalability, resilience and performance
  • Support connectivity across compute, storage and cloud platforms
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across large-scale network environments
  • Collaborate with project management and engineering teams across the organisation
  • Engage with network vendors and contribute to engineering discussions on products and solutions
  • Contribute to a software-driven network engineering approach, including automation and tooling
  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to evolve network infrastructure

Your present skillset

  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of datacentre networking technologies, including EVPN/VXLAN

Requirements

  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of routing protocols and resilient fabric design, with proven experience designing, building and troubleshooting large-scale datacentre network fabrics
  • Understand switch ASICs, buffering models, platform capabilities and performance trade-offs
  • Have experience with RDMA, RoCE and/or UEC networks
  • Understand datacentre physical standards, including fibre, optics, cabling, switch airflow, cooling and power
  • Have knowledge of WAN engineering and cloud interconnects supporting hybrid infrastructure and cloud bursting
  • Have at least basic practical knowledge of Python or Go/Golang, Ansible, Git and AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude
  • Be comfortable getting hands-on with smaller engineering tasks as well as larger strategic projects
  • Be a highly collaborative team player who takes ownership of complex problems and major project deliverables, communicating clearly and working across teams to drive successful outcomes
