Job description

  • Lead a team of developers in the design, development, and delivery of scalable microservices-based applications.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for Product, Architecture, DevOps, and QA teams.
  • Design and build microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and related frameworks.
  • Architect and manage containerized workloads on AWS EKS, including deployments, services, ingress, and namespaces.
  • Develop and deploy Apigee proxies to support microservices and API integrations.
  • Conduct technical design and code reviews while enforcing engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues and deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
  • Support CI/CD automation and cloud-native application deployments.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 4-5+ years of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Strong hands-on experience designing and developing AWS and Kubernetes/EKS-based microservices architectures.
  • Proven experience leading development teams and delivering enterprise-scale applications.
  • Experience with cloud-native development, API management, CI/CD, and distributed systems.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Benefits & conditions

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $55.00 to $65.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
