Requirements

2+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or similar role

Strong experience with feature engineering and data preparation for machine learning models

Hands on experience developing, training, and validating machine learning algorithms

Advanced proficiency in Python, including Pandas, NumPy, Scikit Learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch

Experience performing exploratory data analysis and statistical modeling

Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets

Understanding of supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques

Experience evaluating model performance and optimizing predictive accuracy

Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical findings to non technical stakeholders Experience with predictive analytics, propensity modeling, or customer behavior modeling

Experience deploying models into production environments

Familiarity with MLOps concepts and model monitoring

Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools

Experience in nonprofit, higher education, healthcare, or research environments

Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field

About the company

Insight Global is seeking two Data Scientists to support a large non profit organization affiliated with a globally recognized university. These individuals will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing machine learning models that drive data driven decision making. The primary focus of this work will be feature engineering, predictive modeling, and extracting actionable insights from large and complex datasets. The ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in machine learning, statistical analysis, and data engineering concepts, with the ability to transform raw and unstructured data into meaningful model inputs that improve predictive performance. These resources will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to identify patterns, build scalable models, and generate insights that inform strategic engagement and outreach initiatives. This role will be fully remote, based in Latin America, and the pay rate will range from $18-26/hr.
