Job description
Blu Omega is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to support a federal program focused on public health data analytics and visualization. This role operates within a hybrid work environment and is responsible for developing scalable, secure applications supporting enterprise data systems. The position requires experience supporting full-stack development, cloud integration, automation, and AI-enabled solutions within a mission-driven environment., * Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Build backend services and APIs using C#/.NET Core and Python
- Create workflow automations, pipelines, and integrations with Python
- Design and support cloud-native services across Azure and AWS, including microservices and event-driven architectures
- Integrate AI-enabled applications and LLM-powered workflows, including chatbots and intelligent agents
- Develop and support applications utilizing data technologies such as Cosmos DB, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Kafka
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and support containerized deployments with Docker
- Apply DevSecOps, identity, and access management, and security best practices throughout development
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and troubleshooting activities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
Requirements
Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust approval required, * 5+ years of front-end development experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Hands-on experience developing full-stack applications using C#/.NET Core and Python
- Experience designing APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures
- Proficiency in workflow automation, pipelines, and scripting using Python or similar technologies
- Cloud engineering experience with Azure and AWS, supporting cloud-native services
- Experience with Azure services such as Cosmos DB, Synapse, Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hub, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
- Experience integrating or developing applications using generative AI, AI agents, or LLM-based workflows
- Familiarity with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, or similar
- Proficiency with Git, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, Docker, and DevSecOps practices
- Understanding of distributed systems, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Strong analytical and collaborative skills; effective communicator
- Ability to work on-site in Atlanta, Georgia or Washington, DC
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting CDC, public health, or other federal health programs
- Experience with generative AI and agent frameworks such as LangChain and PydanticAI
- Experience with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Bicep
- Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and cloud security controls
- Experience integrating Posit or Streamlit applications into cloud platforms
- Experience with observability tooling and performance optimization
- Designing agentic AI solutions and orchestrated workflows using event-driven technologies like Azure Service Bus, Event Hub, or Kafka
Benefits & conditions
Salary Range: 130,000-145,000 Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
