Platform Product Designer - TikTok Design

About The Team: TikTok UX team is responsible for the product design of the TikTok app. Our key vertical ownership areas include Core app Product Infrastructure, Social, Search, Creation, Platform Responsibilities and Design Systems. Providing professional design methods and practices, the team helps improve user experience and working efficiency of these products and areas.

Responsibilities

• Drive the core Web-based product design for internal international operations middle-platforms, deeply analyze complex business scenarios, and comprehensively enhance user efficiency and experience;
• Deeply engage in upstream business planning, collaborate closely with product and operations teams, and drive the end-to-end implementation of product strategies from ideation to high-quality user experiences;
• Precisely manage the full-link visual tone, delivering systematic visual presentations that balance professional rigor with aesthetic appeal for complex ToB (Business-to-Business) scenarios, specifically covering CMS and CRM systems.

Minimum Qualification(s):

• Practical experience in Web product or visual design with solid web design delivery capabilities. A personal design portfolio is required for application;
• Solid foundation in interface visual design and a strong aesthetic sense, with familiarity with Web visual design systems and guidelines. Hands-on experience with Design Systems is a plus;
• Strong business logic comprehension, capable of independently taking on complex requirements and delivering high-quality results from end to end;
• Excellent communication and driving skills, capable of collaborating smoothly with cross-functional stakeholders such as product managers and R&D teams to ensure efficient project delivery.

Preferred Qualification(s):

• Curiosity about AI coding or front-end generation tools, with the ability to quickly produce design demos for early-stage exploration and solution validation.
• Sensitivity to visual design trends and the ability to flexibly apply them to innovative solutions.

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $76000 - $151200 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
