Job description

The Director of Internal Technologies will ensure that employees have access to secure, reliable, and efficient technology while identifying opportunities to improve productivity through process optimization, automation, and the practical adoption of emerging technologies. Reporting to the VP of Technical Operations, this leader will partner closely with stakeholders across the company to help teams take greater ownership of their technology and implement scalable solutions that support growth., * Lead the delivery of employee technology services, ensuring a reliable, secure, and high-quality support experience across the organization.

  • Oversee device lifecycle management, identity and access management, collaboration platforms, and workplace technology.
  • Establish and report on operational metrics that measure performance, drive continuous improvement, and support the business’s security, compliance, and continuity requirements.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and technology spend to maximize value and eliminate unnecessary complexity. Enterprise Applications & Business Systems
  • Oversee the administration and optimization of internal technology platforms and business applications.
  • Partner with business leaders to improve processes and automate workflows.
  • Drive the simplification of technology ecosystems through thoughtful governance and standardization.
  • Ensure Lightcast’s systems and data support effective decision-making, collaboration, and operational efficiency. Automation & AI Enablement
  • Identify practical opportunities to improve productivity through automation and AI-enabled workflows.
  • Partner with leaders across the company to evaluate use cases, prioritize investments, and support the adoption of new capabilities.
  • Develop governance and enablement programs that promote the responsible and effective use of AI agents and other AI technologies.
  • Monitor evolving technology trends and spearhead the adoption of solutions that create measurable business value.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous learning while maintaining appropriate security and risk controls. Leadership & Business Partnership
  • Lead a high-performing technology team in adopting agentic workflows while fostering a culture of service, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish strong and trusting relationships with leaders and employees across the organization.
  • Translate business needs into technology priorities and investment recommendations.
  • Develop roadmaps that balance operational excellence, employee experience, and long-term scalability.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of progressive experience in IT, business technology, enterprise systems, or a related discipline.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience leading internal technology, help desk, workplace technology, or enterprise systems functions in a growth-oriented organization.
  • Demonstrated success in improving employee productivity through technology, automation, and process optimization.
  • Experience managing SaaS ecosystems, technology vendors, security practices, and enterprise applications.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and agentic workflows.
  • A strong operational mindset with the ability to balance service delivery, innovation, and business priorities.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and build trusted relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
