Job description

As a Test Lead specializing in selenium and Java, you will be responsible for leading the testing efforts, implementing test automation strategies, and ensuring high-quality software development and delivery using selenium and Java technologies. Key Responsibilities

Lead the test planning, design, and execution phases for projects involving selenium and java.
Develop and implement automation scripts using selenium and java to enhance test efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify testing requirements and ensure alignment with project milestones.
Perform root cause analysis on testing defects and provide recommendations for resolution.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members in implementing selenium and java testing best practices.
Monitor and report on testing progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders.

Requirements

Proficiency in selenium automation testing framework.
Strong programming skills in java for test automation.
Handson experience in designing and executing selenium test scripts.
Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Familiarity with ci/cd pipelines and version control systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Certifications: Selenium WebDriver Certification, Java SE Programmer Certification.

Hands-on experience in API automation using Karate framework
STRONG HANDS-ON KARATE IS A MUST HAVE
Senior QA Engineer —-
Strong proficiency in Java with solid OOP concepts
Hands-on experience in API automation using Karate framework - STRONG HANDS-ON KARATE IS A STRONG MUST HAVE
Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML validation, and authentication mechanisms
Experience designing and maintaining scalable frameworks (POM, Hybrid, BDD)
Integration of automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions)
Build tools: Maven/Gradle and version control using Git
Good knowledge of SQL for backend validation
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong debugging, root cause analysis, and mentoring capabilities
