Support Engineer

Are you passionate about IT and eager to help colleagues solve technical challenges? As a Support Engineer at Connect Group, you are the first point of contact for IT support across our production and office environments. You ensure employees can work efficiently by providing fast, customer-focused support and contributing to reliable IT services.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for hardware, software and user-related issues

• Register, analyse and resolve incidents and service requests

• Support Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, laptops, printers and mobile devices

• Install software and configure new user accounts and workstations

• Perform basic network, VPN and connectivity troubleshooting

• Document incidents, solutions and actions in the ticketing system

• Escalate complex technical issues to second-line support

• Deliver excellent customer service to both production and office employees

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking or a related field

• 0-2 years of experience in IT Support, Service Desk or Helpdesk (internships are welcome)

• Fluent in Dutch with a good working knowledge of English

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Customer-focused, organised and eager to learn

• Basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, networking and ticketing systems

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Intune or ManageEngine Endpoint Central

• Knowledge of Sophos, Darktrace or IT security concepts

• Familiarity with ERP/SAP, MES, Linux or remote support tools
