Job description

Are you a strategic and analytical Technical Solution Architect with a passion for connecting complex IT landscapes? At Randstad Digital, we are seeking a results-driven professional for a high-impact role at a leading B2B IT service provider. In this role, you will be the driving force behind designing scalable, secure, and future-proof IT solutions. With Application Integration as your core driver, you will align platforms, data flows, APIs, infrastructure, and security controls into a unified ecosystem. You will translate customer needs, challenge existing assumptions, and build robust architectural solutions that fit both current requirements and future directions., * Translate business objectives, technical requirements, and operational needs into realistic, secure, and scalable end-to-end technical solutions.

Take full technical ownership of solutions from initial analysis and design through implementation follow-up and transition to operations.
Leverage Application Integration (API-led, event-driven, middleware) as a design driver to align hybrid and cloud environments.
Identify missing requirements, technical dependencies, risks, and assumptions across the complete ecosystem.
Proactively challenge existing designs to deliver simpler, more efficient, and sustainable approaches.
Collaborate closely with enterprise architects, engineers, vendors, and client stakeholders to deliver unified solutions.
Support the sales community with RFPs, RFIs, customer workshops, and technical solution validations.
Account for the complete solution lifecycle, including observability, security, capacity, Disaster Recovery, and decommissioning.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in IT architecture, solution design, or complex infrastructure and integration projects., Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience., * Strong foundation in Infrastructure & Platform Architecture (hybrid datacenters, multi-DC, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, virtualization).

Solid understanding of Cloud-Native Platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD pipelines, API management).
Hands-on knowledge of networking concepts (advanced routing, BGP, ingress/egress load balancing, security zoning, Zero-Trust).
Deep understanding of Security by Design (IAM/Entra ID, SIEM/XDR, ZTNA, Firewalls, DLP, ISO27001).
Demonstrated expertise in Application Integration (API-led architectures, event-driven integration, message brokers, service orchestration).
Familiarity with Automation & Operations (Infrastructure as Code, observability, monitoring, logging, capacity planning).
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical teams and executive management.
Professional fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch or French is a strong asset.
