Hiring: Senior UNIX System Administrator (Linux / AIX / Solaris)Location: Madrid and Málaga, SpainWork Model: Hybrid, 1 day per week onsiteLanguage Requirement: English (B2+)We are looking for a Senior UNIX System Administrator to join an international infrastructure team responsible for managing and supporting Linux, AIX, and Solaris environments. This role requires a proactive professional who can work independently, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate effectively with global teams while meeting established SLAs.Key Responsibilities:Manage and support UNIX environments, including Linux, AIX, and SolarisPerform system administration, monitoring, and infrastructure health checksHandle incidents, problems, changes, and service requestsSupport cluster operations and daily infrastructure activitiesMonitor and maintain AIX environments, including legacy systemsImplement parameter changes and ensure system stabilityCollaborate with international teams in EnglishRequired Skills:UNIX/Linux system administration experienceStrong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)Experience troubleshooting Linux operating systems and hardware issuesKnowledge of virtualized environmentsFamiliarity with VMware and SAN technologiesExperience with IBM Power Systems infrastructureUnderstanding of DNS, LDAP, SMTP, and SNMP protocolsStrong problem-solving and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with legacy AIX environmentsRHCE, RHCT, LPIC, or other Linux certificationsExperience working in enterprise or multinational environmentsIf you have a strong UNIX/Linux administration background and are looking to work in a global enterprise environment, I would be happy to connect and discuss this opportunity.
