Job description

The role will focus heavily on Java and C++ development within Linux environments, working across complex software components, APIs and distributed applications.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience with Java and C++
  • Linux development
  • Object-oriented programming and software design patterns
  • Multithreading / concurrency
  • Backend application development
  • REST APIs & microservices
  • Distributed systems
  • Software debugging and performance optimisation
  • Docker / containerisation
  • CI/CD and DevSecOps
  • Git / GitLab / Bitbucket

You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to technical design and architecture, mentor other engineers and work closely with customers and technical stakeholders.
