Requirements

  • Work is performed primarily in an office setting. Employee will be exposed to a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities and abilities.\n
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for hardware, software, and network issues.\n
  • Knowledge of LAN server support, network security, and multi-protocol environments.\n
  • Ability to monitor and respond to server room environmental changes.\n
  • Experience in maintaining system backups and data recovery procedures.\n
  • Proficiency in documenting IT systems, downtime causes, and performance reports.\n
  • Effective communication and coordination with vendor support teams.\n
  • Ability to install and manage network cabling, hardware, and peripherals.\n
  • Attention to detail for maintaining IT blueprints and system configurations.\n
  • Familiarity with DISA, HAIMS, DMLLS, EBMS, and other medical IT systems. \n

nThis position requires an active Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be considered.\n \n \nAs required by our governmental client, this position requires being a US Citizen.\n \n \nProvide hardware, software, and network troubleshooting, including minor maintenance and repairs. Monitor server room conditions and respond to alerts. Support LAN servers, network security, and backups. Maintain system documentation, track downtime, and coordinate vendor support. Configure and document network cabling, update IT blueprints, and ensure proper operation of IT infrastructure within the 81 MDG environment.\n \n \nCompensation & Benefits:\n \n \nEstimated Starting Salary Range: $17.31/hr ($36,000 annually)\n \n \n[Title] Responsibilities Include: \n \n \n

  • Identify and resolve hardware, software, and network malfunctions.\n
  • Perform minor hardware/software/network maintenance, including board replacement, cable switching, and hardware installations.\n
  • Continuously monitor server room conditions (temperature, humidity, power interruptions) and respond to alerts.\n
  • Provide LAN server support, including network communications hardware, software, and security.\n
  • Maintain 30-day system data backups and manage off-site tape storage.\n
  • Track and document network, system, and web availability, including downtime and performance degradation.\n
  • Coordinate with vendor support services for system issues and degraded performance.\n
  • Configure, install, and document network cabling for operational efficiency.\n
  • Maintain and update IT blueprints, including hardware configurations, cabling diagrams, and network devices.\n
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.\n

  • Must maintain Security+ certification.\n
