Network Architect

We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to lead the design, modernization, and security of enterprise networking environments. This role is approximately 60% architecture focused and will be responsible for developing scalable, resilient, and secure network solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.

The Network Architect will serve as a technical leader, helping define network standards, mentoring junior engineers, representing projects at architecture and governance committees, and driving network transformation initiatives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and architect enterprise network solutions focused on performance, security, scalability, and resiliency

• Lead network modernization and cloud networking initiatives across platforms such as Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud, and hybrid environments

• Develop and maintain network architecture standards and best practices

• Serve as a key member of architecture review and governance committees

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of six network engineers

• Design secure connectivity solutions, including VPN and point-to-point network security architectures

• Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate requirements into network solutions

• Drive network automation and orchestration initiatives to improve operational efficiency

• Support disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP) efforts

• Lead technical design discussions and provide guidance during major incidents and escalations

• Partner with project teams to ensure successful delivery of network-related initiatives

7+ years of enterprise networking experience

• 3+ years of experience in a Network Architect, Solutions Architect, or similar architecture-focused role preferred

• Strong expertise in routing and switching technologies

• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking platforms including: Arista, Juniper, Fortinet, Cisco

• Experience designing and supporting wireless network environments

• Experience with cloud architecture (AWS, AZURE, ETC.)

• Ability to create architecture documentation and present complex technical solutions to leadership teams

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
