Job description

A large employer on the Front Range is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join their team. The primary initiative for this role is the development and automation of a Golden Image Pipeline., Building and configuring secure virtual machine images

Automating the end-to-end image creation process

Integrating cybersecurity testing and validation into the image lifecycle

Ensuring images meet security and compliance standards before release

Publishing approved images into a centralized image repository

Maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code and pipeline automation to reduce manual effort and increase consistency

Requirements

Strong experience with Kubernetes administration and containerized workloads

Proficiency in Go (Golang) development

Experience supporting VMware environments

Hands-on AWS infrastructure experience

Background in CI/CD, DevOps automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code

Understanding of security controls, vulnerability management, and compliance within infrastructure pipelines

Experience in platform engineering and self-service infrastructure models

Benefits & conditions

Health, dental, vision and 401k benefits are offered throughout the duration of the contract. The hourly pay ranges from $68-$72 an hour based on experience.
