Requirements

10+ years of experience in Java/JEE, Spring Boot, Angular, React, and enterprise application development. Strong experience building microservices, REST APIs, SPAs, and high-throughput, low-latency applications. Deep hands-on expertise with Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, Kafka Connect, producers/consumers, topics, partitions, and consumer groups. Experience with AWS, PostgreSQL, DB2, JPA/Hibernate, Tomcat, and WebSphere. Strong integration experience with REST/SOAP, XML, JSON, JAX-WS, Jersey, and CXF. Experience with Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket, Maven, Nexus, Jira, SonarQube, Fortify, and UrbanCode. Strong knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, JUnit, Mockito, TDD/BDD, and Cucumber. Experience developing responsive, Section 508-compliant applications. Preferred Kafka performance tuning, replication, partitioning, and retention. AI-enabled application modernization. Federal/government IT and Section 508 compliance. Cloud-native development, containers, and Twelve-Factor App methodology.
