Job description
Insight Global is assisting a client in finding a UX Architect to drive the strategy, governance, and evolution of user experience across a portfolio of software products. This role will help establish UX standards, frameworks, and best practices while ensuring a consistent and intuitive experience across multiple applications. The ideal candidate has experience building or scaling a UX organization, creating design systems and governance models, and leading complex UX initiatives from strategy through execution. This person will serve as the UX thought leader for the organization while remaining hands-on in prototyping, user flow design, and experience optimization.
UX Strategy & Governance
· Establish UX standards, design frameworks, and governance practices across multiple products
· Create scalable UX processes that drive consistency and quality throughout the product portfolio
· Define user experience principles, methodologies, and design best practices
· Lead discussions around UX direction and long-term user experience strategy
User Experience Architecture
· Design and optimize end-to-end user journeys and workflows
· Create wireframes, prototypes, and interaction models for complex enterprise applications
· Evaluate existing user experiences and identify opportunities for simplification and improvement
· Ensure consistency across products while balancing user needs and technical constraints
Data-Driven Design
· Utilize user behavior data, analytics, and research findings to inform design decisions
· Partner with Data Science teams to identify patterns and opportunities to improve user experiences
· Develop approaches for personalization and enhanced user engagement
· Leverage insights to optimize workflows and improve usability
Leadership & Collaboration
· Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Data Science teams
· Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to a global UX team
· Lead UX reviews and promote user-centered design practices throughout the organization
· Influence product strategy through UX research, best practices, and customer insights
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in UX Design, UX Architecture, Product Design, or Experience Design
· Proven experience establishing UX standards, governance models, or design systems
· Experience supporting multiple applications or product portfolios
· Strong expertise in user journeys, workflow optimization, interaction design, and information architecture
· Advanced proficiency with Figma and modern UX design tools
· Demonstrated experience creating prototypes and validating solutions through user testing
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Portfolio showcasing strategic UX leadership and complex application design work · Experience supporting enterprise SaaS or technical software products
· Experience working closely with Data Science, Analytics, or Product teams
· Familiarity with personalization strategies and data-driven design methodologies
· Experience leading or mentoring distributed UX teams
· Background implementing design systems across multiple products
· Certifications: Relevant UX design certifications (e.g., NN/g UX Certification).
· Agile Experience: Experience working in Agile development environments.
User Research: Experience conducting user research and usability testing
