Java Backend Developer

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong expertise in Java/J2EE technologies, Spring Framework, enterprise application development, and distributed architectures. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience developing scalable backend applications, REST/SOAP services, enterprise integrations, and relational database solutions while collaborating within Agile development teams., * Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java backend applications.

• Develop applications using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Core, and Spring Transactions.
• Build and support RESTful and SOAP web services using JAX RS, JAX WS, and Spring Framework.
• Develop enterprise applications deployed on WebSphere and JBoss application servers.
• Design and implement distributed solutions using integration platforms such as DataPower, Mule, or other ESB technologies.
• Create comprehensive unit tests using JUnit, Mockito, and related testing frameworks.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for Oracle or similar relational databases.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, business analysts, and development teams throughout the SDLC.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, technical discussions, and production support.
• Troubleshoot application issues and recommend scalable technical solutions.

• Strong Java and J2EE development experience.
• Hands on experience with Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Core, and Spring Transactions.
• Strong understanding of JSP, EJB, Servlets, JNDI, JDBC, JMS, JTA, Log4J, and asynchronous Java processing.
• Experience designing n tier and distributed application architectures.
• Experience with DataPower, Mule, or other ESB platforms.
• Experience developing REST and SOAP services using JAX WS, JAX RS, or Spring Framework.
• Experience deploying enterprise applications on WebSphere and JBoss.
• Hands on experience with JUnit, Mockito, and unit testing best practices.
• Strong SQL and Oracle database experience.
• Experience with JIRA and SDLC processes.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self motivated, detail oriented, and collaborative team player.
• Must have recent hands on Java development experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
• Complex SQL development including joins, subqueries, and indexing.
• Frontend development using React or Angular.
• Node.js experience.
• Experience mentoring junior developers.
• Technical design leadership.
• Code review experience and automated code review tools.
• Strong collaboration with product and engineering teams.
• Ability to quickly adapt to complex enterprise environments.
• Passion for software engineering best practices.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
