Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, * Five (5) years’ experience developing front-end components for web applications
  • Five (5) years’ experience working with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Three (3) years’ experience developing or customizing themes in a Content Management System (CMS), preferably Drupal
  • Experience implementing responsive and mobile-friendly web designs
  • Experience implementing accessibility standards aligned with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and Section 508
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment
  • Two (2) years’ experience creating websites in Drupal for government entities

Desired Skills / Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing custom Drupal themes using Twig templating
  • Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional web interfaces
  • Experience applying State or government branding standards in web implementations
  • Familiarity with Drupal content types, Views, and configuration management
  • Experience supporting cross-browser compatibility and performance optimization
  • Experience testing and validating role-based content display and password-protected areas
  • Familiarity with secure front-end development practices aligned with State IT security standards
  • Experience supporting State, government, or other public-sector clients
  • Two (2) years’ experience implementing AI-powered or similar searches in website environments
  • Two (2) years’ experience conducting CX discovery and analysis for websites with diverse audience
