Job description
- Join a dynamic team supporting the modernization of legacy applications within the financial services sector.
- Develop and support applications using AWS cloud services in a collaborative environment.
- Analyze, develop, enhance, test, troubleshoot, and deploy software solutions.
- Work across backend, database, and front-end technologies to build reliable, scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver business-critical applications.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
- Hands-on experience developing and supporting applications in AWS environments.
- Experience with relevant AWS services.
- Java development experience, particularly with enterprise applications and integrations.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
- Experience with Angular or similar modern front-end frameworks.
- Experience modernizing, migrating, or transitioning legacy applications to modern platforms.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, application development, unit testing, troubleshooting, integration, and deployment support.
- Experience working within Agile or squad-based development teams.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to AI technologies or AI-enabled application development.
- Experience within financial services or other highly regulated industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
