Job description

Join a dynamic team supporting the modernization of legacy applications within the financial services sector.
Develop and support applications using AWS cloud services in a collaborative environment.
Analyze, develop, enhance, test, troubleshoot, and deploy software solutions.
Work across backend, database, and front-end technologies to build reliable, scalable solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver business-critical applications.

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
Hands-on experience developing and supporting applications in AWS environments.
Experience with relevant AWS services.
Java development experience, particularly with enterprise applications and integrations.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
Experience with Angular or similar modern front-end frameworks.
Experience modernizing, migrating, or transitioning legacy applications to modern platforms.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, application development, unit testing, troubleshooting, integration, and deployment support.
Experience working within Agile or squad-based development teams.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to AI technologies or AI-enabled application development.
Experience within financial services or other highly regulated industries.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
