Job description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build production-grade REST APIs and cloud-native applications.
  • Containerize applications using Docker and deploy/manage workloads on Kubernetes.
  • Develop and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
  • Design and implement data models and queries using Cassandra.
  • Configure, secure, and manage APIs using Apigee, including API gateways, proxies, and policies.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and/or Claude Code for coding, code review, refactoring, debugging, and optimization.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, code reviews, and sprint planning.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call support as needed.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product, and other cross-functional teams to deliver features end-to-end.
  • Develop unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
  • Provide technical leadership and contribute to engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • Java Strong hands-on experience developing production-grade applications.
  • Spring Boot Deep experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
  • Kubernetes Experience deploying, scaling, and managing containerized applications.
  • GitLab Experience with source control and GitLab CI/CD pipeline configuration.
  • Cassandra Strong experience with distributed NoSQL database modeling and querying.
  • AI-Assisted Development Practical, hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot and/or Claude Code in daily development workflows to write, review, refactor, debug, and optimize code.
  • Docker Experience building and managing container images.
  • Apigee/API Gateway Experience with API gateway configuration, proxy development, and policy management.
