Job description

We are seeking a motivated and innovative Exploitation Specialist (Data Scientist) - Level 3 to support mission-critical GEOINT collection improvement initiatives for a government customer in Springfield, Virginia. This role supports research-driven efforts focused on developing advanced analytic methodologies, improving GEOINT collection capabilities, and leveraging data science techniques across multi-INT environments.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in ambiguous problem spaces, enjoys research-oriented projects, and can develop creative technical solutions to complex intelligence challenges.

This is a fully on-site position requiring work at the client site 40 hours per week. Telework is not available., * Support development of advanced GEOINT collection methodologies

  • Apply data science and analytic techniques to intelligence mission challenges
  • Develop, test, and refine analytic workflows and methodologies
  • Work collaboratively with mission partners across intelligence disciplines
  • Analyze complex datasets to support operational and research objectives
  • Contribute innovative solutions to evolving intelligence problems

Requirements

Do you have experience in Research?, Do you have a Master’s degree?, * Active TS/SCI clearance with willingness to obtain a CI Polygraph

  • Ability to work on-site in Springfield, VA full-time
  • Proficiency with Python
  • Experience meeting GEO-SPI Level 3 requirements through one of the following:
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 2 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in a STEM field, * Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM field
  • Knowledge of GEOINT collection processes and associated government customer systems
  • Experience with JEMA or low-side equivalents such as:
  • ESRI Model Builder
  • Alteryx
  • Tableau Prep
  • Experience with Activity-Based Intelligence (ABI)
  • Experience applying machine learning algorithms to intelligence data
  • Experience working with multi-INT datasets
  • Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and adapt to evolving mission requirements
  • Experience developing and testing new analytic methodologies
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
