Job description

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll work alongside the wider technical team to design, configure, test and maintain F5 devices across a complex enterprise environment.

You’ll utilise your experience across F5 BIG-IP technologies including LTM, GTM/DNS, APM and AWAF, alongside tooling such as Jenkins and GitHub, to support and enhance network infrastructure.

The role will also see you building and deploying technologies across private and public cloud environments, contributing to enterprise applications and working with modern cloud architectures alongside traditional data centre environments.

You’ll need to be comfortable rapidly picking up domain knowledge, working independently when required and collaborating with technical teams to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.

Requirements

Proven experience working as an Infrastructure Engineer
F5 BIG-IP - LTM, GTM/DNS, APM and AWAF
Strong understanding of networking technologies, IP routing protocols and firewalls
Jenkins, GitHub or similar technologies
Agile methodologies, Jira and CI/CD pipelines
Python and enterprise integrations
AppViewX ADC+, DO and AS3
Building and deploying technologies across private and public cloud environments
Modern cloud architectures including CaaS and IaaS
Traditional data centre hosted architectures
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
Good understanding of Operational Resilience and Security, F5, F5 BIG-IP, BIG-IP, LTM, GTM, DNS, APM, AWAF, Infrastructure Engineer, Network Infrastructure, Network Security, Traffic Management, AppViewX, ADC+, DO, AS3, Jenkins, GitHub, CI/CD, Jira, Python, IP Routing, Firewalls, Cloud, Private Cloud, Public Cloud, CaaS, IaaS, Data Centre, Operational Resilience, Security
