Job description

Are you a technologist Data Engineer who enjoys problem solving and working on complex systems?

You could be progressing your career at the world’s most advanced cybersecurity technology business that uses AI technology to protect clients across the globe from advanced cyber threats, working alongside a team of friendly and supportive people and enjoying a host of perks and benefits.

As a Data Engineer you will help build the cloud-native data platform that powers next generation AI and machine learning products. Working at the intersection of data engineering, cloud infrastructure and AI, you’ll design scalable pipelines and platforms capable of processing billions of records, ensuring reliable, high-quality data flows from ingestion through to production ML models.

You’ll develop and optimise modern ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses and workflow orchestration, collaborating closely with Data Scientists, MLOps Engineers and Software Engineers to deliver robust, scalable and cost-efficient solutions. This is an opportunity to influence the architecture of a growing AI platform, working with technologies including Python, Apache Airflow, SQL/NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Google Cloud Platform.

  • You have experience with data pipelines (ETL / ELT) and workflow orchestrators such as Apache Airflow
  • You have a strong knowledge of data warehousing and database systems (SQL and NoSQL), including data modelling and schema design
  • You’re familiar with streaming data technologies (e.g., Kafka, Pub/Sub)
  • You have experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP or AWS preferred)
  • You have experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • You’re proficient with CI/CD and have a working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • You’re collaborative with fluent English language skills
  • Please note: you must have full right to work in The Netherlands without highly skilled migrant visa

Benefits & conditions

  • Salary to €80,000
  • Pension, Private Medical Insurance, Life Assurance
