Job description

Join our dynamic cybersecurity team as a Cybersecurity Analyst and become a vital defender of our digital infrastructure! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our IT environment by analyzing security measures, monitoring network activity, and implementing robust security protocols. Your expertise will help us stay ahead of evolving cyber threats, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our data and systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to a resilient security posture across diverse platforms., * Monitor network traffic using SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.

  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and research to identify weaknesses within IT infrastructure, including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), and cloud environments such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Implement and manage security controls aligned with NIST standards, ISO 27000 series, and FedRAMP compliance requirements.
  • Configure and maintain firewalls (Cisco ASA, Cisco ISE), IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), IPS (Intrusion Prevention Systems), VPNs, and other network security devices to protect organizational assets.
  • Perform incident response activities, including threat detection, containment, investigation, and recovery procedures.
  • Harden systems through system security plans, system hardening techniques, and regular vulnerability management practices.
  • Support network engineering efforts by configuring routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), load balancing solutions, and network architecture improvements to enhance high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Vuls?, * Proven experience with computer networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IPsec, Ethernet, VLANs, and network protocols.

  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks including NIST standards, ISO 27000 series, FISMA, DIACAP, RMF, COBIT, and ITIL best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools like SIEM platforms (Splunk or SolarWinds), Fiddler for log analysis, SolarWinds for network monitoring, and open-source tools such as Snort or Suricata for threat detection.
  • Familiarity with operating systems including Windows, Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS), macOS, Debian, openSUSE, Solaris; experience with virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere or Citrix is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing environments such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform; experience with cloud architecture design is preferred.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation tasks; experience with DevOps tools such as Ansible or Terraform is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of encryption methods including PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) and SSL/TLS; familiarity with system security hardening standards like FIPS is desirable.
  • Ability to perform vulnerability research and assessment using industry-standard attack frameworks; experience with incident management processes is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills to document security procedures clearly and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
