Job description

Join our dynamic cybersecurity team as an IAM (Identity & Access Management) Engineer and be at the forefront of safeguarding digital assets across complex IT infrastructures. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain robust identity management solutions that ensure secure access control, compliance with industry standards, and seamless user experiences. Your expertise will drive the development of secure authentication systems, support incident response efforts, and enhance overall network security posture. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about cybersecurity innovation, this is your opportunity to make a significant impact., * Develop and implement IAM solutions utilizing technologies such as LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol), SSO (Single Sign-On), and RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) to streamline user access management.

  • Configure and manage network security devices including Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine), firewalls like Cisco ASA, and IDS/IPS systems to enforce security policies aligned with NIST standards.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on IT infrastructure components such as LAN, WAN, SAN, and cloud environments to identify and mitigate security risks.
  • Maintain system security plans, perform system hardening, and ensure compliance with ISO 27000 series standards including FIPS (Federal Information Processing Standards) and FedRAMP guidelines.
  • Monitor network traffic using SIEM tools like Splunk or SolarWinds for threat detection & response; analyze logs for suspicious activity; coordinate incident recovery efforts.
  • Support network engineering tasks including routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), IPsec VPN configurations, load balancing, and high availability architectures across diverse environments like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or VMware vSphere.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cybersecurity initiatives such as threat intelligence research, vulnerability management programs, and incident management procedures.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Vuls?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, * Proven experience in computer networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Ethernet, VLANs, and network protocols essential for secure network architecture.

  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST standards, ISO 27000 series, DIACAP, RMF (Risk Management Framework), and ITIL best practices.
  • Hands-on expertise with network security devices including Cisco routers/switches, Juniper equipment, Cisco ISE for identity management, firewalls like Cisco ASA or Palo Alto Networks.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure; experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or vSphere is preferred.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation; experience with DevOps tools like Ansible or Terraform is a plus.
  • Ability to perform vulnerability research & assessment using tools like Fiddler or SolarWinds; conduct threat detection & response activities effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field; relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CCNP Security are highly desirable.
