Software Engineer Level 2

Markon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the development and integration of mission-critical software systems in a Linux-based environment for the Fort Meade Customer. The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain high-performance software solutions using modern programming languages and best engineering practices., * Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications in a Linux environment.

• Develop and modify software using Python and C++ to support mission and system requirements.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Integrate software components into larger systems and operational environments.
• Collaborate with systems engineers and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation activities.

• Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with this Customer.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline plus 14 years of relevant experience.
• Experience developing software in a Linux-based environment.
• Strong programming experience with Python and C++.

Desired

• Experience with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and/or Radio Frequency (RF) systems.

USD $160,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.
