Job description

We at Coforge are looking for Microsoft fabric data Architect for London, who designs, plans, and governs enterprise-scale analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric., * Define and implement the Microsoft Fabric architecture roadmap for enterprise analytics and reporting.

  • Design and govern modern data architectures leveraging OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Semantic Models, and Dataflows Gen2.
  • Lead migration of legacy reporting platforms and BYOD-based reporting solutions to Microsoft Fabric and Fabric Link.
  • Architect scalable data ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption layers.
  • Design and optimize Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers for enterprise reporting and analytics.
  • Establish Fabric governance, security, workspace strategy, and access controls.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define data strategies, reporting frameworks, and analytics roadmaps.
  • Provide architecture leadership across Finance, Supply Chain, Asset Management, and other D365 F&O business domains.
  • Ensure data quality, scalability, performance, reliability, and compliance across the Fabric ecosystem.
  • Lead architectural reviews and provide technical guidance to Data Engineers, BI Developers, and Analysts.
  • Drive adoption of self-service analytics, semantic modeling, and reporting best practices.
  • Work closely with MSPs and delivery teams to deliver enterprise-class analytics solutions.
  • Strong experience as a Data Architect, Fabric Architect, Analytics Architect, or Enterprise Data Architect.
  • Deep hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric, including:
  • OneLake,Lakehouse,Data Warehouse,Data Factory
  • Fabric Link
  • Dataflows Gen2
  • Semantic Models
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale data architectures and analytics platforms.
  • Strong understanding of D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) backend architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Fabric Link
  • BYOD Entities
  • BYOD Databases
  • D365 Data Entities
  • Reporting Modernization Programmes
  • Strong SQL and Python skills for data engineering, data transformation, and analytics workloads.
  • Expertise in Data Modeling:
  • Dimensional Modeling
  • Data Vault (preferred)
  • Strong Power BI architecture and development experience.
  • Experience establishing enterprise governance, security, metadata, and data management standards.
  • Strong stakeholder management and business engagement skills.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Fabric Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of enterprise-scale data and analytics solutions on Microsoft Fabric. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric, D365 Finance & Operations (F&O), Data Architecture, Lakehouse, Power BI, Fabric Link, and Azure Data Services, with a proven track record of modernizing reporting platforms and building scalable data ecosystems., * Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)

  • Strong experience with D365 F&O reporting architecture, Fabric Link, and BYOD migrations.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable data and analytics solutions.
  • Strong leadership experience working with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and delivery partners.
