Job description

Experteer Overview As a Senior Data Scientist, you will shape the data strategy for The Knot Worldwide’s Marketplace, guiding experimentation and driving measurable impact through advanced analytics.You’ll partner with product, engineering, and business teams to design experiments, build scalable data products, and translate insights into business outcomes.You’ll mentor teammates and elevate data capabilities across the organization.This role offers the chance to influence product decisions and foster data-driven growth at scale.Compensaciones / Beneficios * Gather, analyze, and interpret data to inform business decisions * Apply advanced stats and ML techniques (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression, classification, clustering, forecasting, causal inference) to derive insights * Forecast and simulate hypotheticals for early signals before large initiatives * Design and analyze A/B and multivariate tests and promote best practices * Build reusable, scalable data products and self-serve capabilities for multiple teams * Translate analyses into actionable recommendations tied to ROI, conversion, retention, and revenue * Maintain deep knowledge of products, data assets, and past experiment outcomes * Identify new data products and data integrations, prioritize backlog with partners * Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment * Ensure tracking is appropriate and scalable in partnership with engineers Responsabilidades * Excellent communication to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences * Strong business acumen and ability to translate problems into analytical solutions * Ability to influence stakeholders with data-driven insights * Advanced knowledge of statistics (hypothesis testing, regression, causal inference, forecasting) * Hands-on experience with experiment design, analysis, and rollout of A/B and multivariate tests * Advanced SQL skills and production-ready queries * Strong Python skills for data manipulation, visualization, and analysis * Knowledge of data modeling and partnering with engineers on data infrastructure * Experience prioritizing analytical work and data assets in a cross-functional environment * Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field preferred * 2+ years in data science or advanced analytics with leadership or project ownership * Fluent in English u** Spanish Requisitos principales * hybrid work model * well-being programs * professional development opportunities
