It Security Engineer

Experteer Overview In this role you contribute to Materialise’s Cyberguard Network Defense by defining long-term security strategy and guiding secure infrastructure implementation.You work with global IT, application and development teams to deliver consistent security direction and to adopt new technologies that protect data and applications.You will lead governance, incident handling, and security design, while mentoring junior engineers and translating regulations into actionable actions.This is a people-centered, trust-based role in a global production environment with a strong focus on impact and continuous improvement.Compensaciones / Beneficios * Own and oversee Network and Security infrastructure * Guide security measure implementation across areas * Enforce governance and support the production security environment * Serve as the point of contact for security-related issues * Translate regulatory requirements into actionable actions * Design a secure framework enabling business navigation * Train and coach junior security engineers * Coordinate and manage critical security incidents * Develop a strategic view for a secure network environment Responsabilidades * Security-first mindset with emphasis on Endpoint Security * Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent by experience * 5-10 years in a strong security environment; relevant certifications are a plus * High-level cybersecurity skills (network/infrastructure) and endpoint protection * Strong leadership with excellent project management * Fluent in English and strong negotiation skills * Experience with cloud security and modern security tooling Requisitos principales * autonomy in task organization * flexible work arrangements * people-centered culture * opportunity for career growth * global cross-functional collaboration
