Job description
The successful candidate will contribute to building and maintaining a stable, secure, and scalable IT environment, working closely with development teams, stakeholders, and external partners. The role focuses on Azure, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, deployment automation, and ALM processes, with some supporting .NET development responsibilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on ALM processes and infrastructure choices.
- Advise on Azure architecture and deployment strategies.
- Contribute to the development of scalable environments.
- Provide supporting development activities in .NET.
- Integrate solutions into existing systems and collaborate closely with development teams.
- Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage and improve release management processes.
- Monitor infrastructure stability, security, and compliance.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Manage Azure environments and support deployment and configuration activities.
- Troubleshoot pipeline and deployment issues.
- Work with external partners to resolve incidents when required.
- Improve deployment processes and automation.
- Optimise CI/CD and release workflows.
- Introduce and promote ALM best practices.
- Document pipelines, infrastructure, deployment processes, and technical procedures.
- Share knowledge with internal teams and external partners.
- Help standardise development and deployment practices.
Requirements
- Medior-level experience in DevOps, Azure, software development, or infrastructure engineering.
- Experience with Azure and Azure DevOps.
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
- Experience with PowerShell and deployment automation.
- Knowledge of Git and version control.
- Understanding of .NET / React / Microservices architectures.
- Experience with deployment and release management.
- Understanding of application and API security.
- Experience with unit and integration testing.
- Knowledge of Service Fabric.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with development teams, stakeholders, and external partners.

Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with advanced Azure deployment strategies.
- Experience in automating infrastructure and application deployments.

Familiarity with modern DevOps and ALM best practices.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Dutch or French: Native or bilingual proficiency.
- This is a fully onsite position in Dessel, Belgium; remote work is not available.
- Candidates must be able to commute to the Dessel site.
- A security clearance/authorisation or security screening may be required as part of the selection process.
- Candidates should indicate whether they or their company already hold the required security clearance.
