Artificial Intelligence Information Engineering Data Infrastructure Extract Transform Load (ETL) Software Debugging Python (Programming Language) Power BI SQL Stored Procedures Azure Data Factory Nintex Hubspot Restful APIs

Job description

  • You’re the person who makes sure our data infrastructure just works. You’re also the only one who does, so the pipelines, the integrations and the numbers the whole company relies on all sit with you.
  • You help Sales and Marketing get real value from their data. That means keeping HubSpot, Planhat and Pendo accurate, building dashboards, and turning commercial questions into insight. Good data means faster decisions and fewer mistakes, and the patterns you spot along the way feed straight back into how we work.
  • At the same time, you set the standard for what good data engineering looks like here. You’re the one person who takes real ownership of this side of the business, and you help make that approach smarter, stronger and easier to scale.

You are responsible for

  • Keeping the pipelines in Azure Data Factory, Power BI and n8n running every day, and fixing failures as they come up.
  • Owning the quality of our commercial data across HubSpot, Planhat and Pendo, so it tells the same story everywhere.
  • Building funnel and pipeline reporting for Sales and Marketing, which helps reporting on conversion rates, source of leads, and other commercial insights.
  • Turning questions from Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Product into dashboards and self serve models.
  • Automating repetitive commercial data work with n8n and AI tooling.
  • Setting the standards that make good data the default, not the exception.

Requirements

You take full ownership and fix things without waiting to be asked. You spot patterns in messy data, turn complexity into something simple, and keep raising the bar on quality. You explain what you did in plain language, and you’re always looking for a smarter way to do it, especially with AI., * At least 3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering or a related field, with pipelines you’ve run in production.

  • Strong SQL. Joins, aggregations, window functions and stored procedures, without help.
  • Strong analytical skills. You can look at a messy dataset, spot what doesn’t add up, and work out why.
  • A genuine interest in working with other teams. Sales and Marketing come to you with questions, and you enjoy being part of finding the answer. You can explain a technical topic without jargon, and people find you easy to work with.
  • You build and debug orchestration pipelines. We use Azure Data Factory, another orchestrator is fine.
  • Python skills that cover every part of an ETL process, plus a working understanding of REST APIs.
  • Comfortable working with a BI tool such as Power BI.
  • You use AI tools in your daily work, and you’re quick to pick up new ones.
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s level of working and thinking.
  • Experience building semantic models and DAX measures in Power BI. It’s a skill you can pick up on the job, so not a dealbreaker if you don’t have it yet.

Benefits & conditions

  • Salary: €3,800 to €4,800 gross per month
  • Laptop
  • €1,000 learning budget a year
  • 25 holiday days, plus 1 extra “You Day” every quarter if you haven’t been off sick
  • Lunch together, every day
  • A friendly office in Nijkerk, complete with a ping pong table, table football, Mario Kart and even a meditation room slash little library
  • A culture that feels more like a close group of friends than a company. You actually know your colleagues, and they know you. That’s also why it won’t be hard to come to the office for a minimum of 3 days a week
  • Room to grow into a senior role, based on how independently you work and the impact you make, plus more opportunities as the company and the data team grow
