Job description

Join our small, collaborative Governance and Assurance team and help ensure information is managed effectively, securely and in line with legal requirements.

You will coordinate day-to-day information governance enquiries, prioritise and progress requests, and provide practical advice to colleagues across the organisation.

You will also support data protection impact assessments, information rights requests, records management improvements, and training and awareness activity. The role offers broad experience across information governance within a professional regulator.

Requirements

  • Have relevant experience, education or training in information governance, privacy or records management, including a relevant recognised qualification or equivalent background.
  • Understand data protection, information rights and records management, and be able to apply requirements practically and proportionately.
  • Be able to research complex issues, assess risk and communicate clear recommendations.
  • Provide confident advice, guidance and training and build effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Be organised, accurate and able to manage competing priorities and statutory deadlines.
  • Have strong Microsoft Office skills; Outlook and SharePoint experience is advantageous.
