Senior Design Engineer

Experteer Overview As a Senior Design Engineer in the Components team, you shape the development of turbine components for wind towers and hybrid structures.You work across disciplines to define holistic component solutions, optimize designs, and advance tooling and processes.You will collaborate with purchasing, quality, service and assembly to drive improvements and cost-down initiatives.This role offers hands-on CAD and data management work in a global, cross-functional environment with meaningful impact on safe, reliable wind turbines.Compensaciones / Beneficios * Support the TDO-E2E project * Develop CAD templates and design tooling for TDO-Tool integration; assist design activities (PSRs, Field support) * Lead project work in interdisciplinary teams for holistic component definition * Review work results from internal/external design engineers * Collaborate in cost-down programs to optimize components * CAD modeling and drawing creation with NX-Unigraphics * Product data management within Teamcenter 14 * Create development reports * Plan/coordinate self-responsible development tasks using Microsoft Project * Evaluate and process quality issues in area of responsibility * Support external service providers as needed * Conduct patent research or creation as required Responsabilidades * Completed degree in mechanical engineering (diploma, master’s degree, university of applied sciences, university, state certified engineer or engineering related studies) * 8+ years in the wind industry * Experience using NX-Unigraphics, Teamcenter and Microsoft Project * Experience in design and dimensioning of steel, aluminum, welded, bent and sheet metal constructions * Experience in development documents and development methodology * Experience in Lift-Ladder System for Windturbines * Experience in design, certification and series improvement of tower components related to personal safety (ladder, fall arrest systems, service lifts, climb assist systems, platforms, rails) and general mechanical design (brackets, cable guidance) * Experience applying relevant standards * Availability to travel Requisitos principales *
