Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - Playwright

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases and automation frameworks.
• Execute automated tests regularly within CI/CD pipelines, identify failures, and troubleshoot issues promptly to ensure smooth deployment cycles.
• Perform detailed root cause analysis on defects uncovered during testing, working closely with developers to facilitate quick resolutions.
• Conduct functional, performance, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate application features against specifications.
• Manage test data creation, maintenance, and analysis using tools like MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle databases.
• Track defects efficiently using defect tracking tools such as Jira or HP ALM, ensuring clear documentation and follow-up.

• Strong proficiency in test automation frameworks with Playwright; experience with TestNG, JUnit, or similar tools is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web automation; familiarity with Appium for mobile testing is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and API testing tools like Postman or REST clients.
• Programming expertise in JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, or related languages used for scripting automation tests.
• Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
• Experience working within Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban; familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
• Ability to perform data analysis using SQL (MySQL, SQL Server, PL/SQL) for validating backend data integrity during tests.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git or SVN to manage code repositories effectively.
• Understanding of performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter; experience with system testing and performance benchmarking is advantageous.
• Strong debugging skills combined with excellent problem-solving capabilities; adept at identifying root causes of issues quickly.
• Knowledge of mobile application testing on Android and iOS devices; experience with emulators/simulators is beneficial.
• Experience supporting DevOps practices including release management, build automation (Ant/Maven), and containerization (Docker/Azure).
