Job description

  • Kick off with Program Management Offices (including MPMs) to confirm priorities for upcoming deliverable hardware and near-term milestones.
  • Unblock the line: facilitate across procurement, planning, manufacturing, and ATLO to keep builds moving; escalate early when risks appear.
  • Manage the control account: scope, proposals, cost estimates, schedules, EACs, risk registers, and EV inputs (including variance analysis and corrective actions).
  • Refresh LRE updates and maintain the historical cost/schedule dataset that feeds program delivery baselines.
  • Coordinate with Production Scheduling so shared-area workloads align with program need dates.
  • Shape the roadmap: align harness design evolution with long-range business plans; authorize and manage technical changes with Engineering.
  • Serve as the recognized technical authority and performance manager for your control account(s); track subsystem TPMs and status deliverables to stakeholders and customers.
  • Drive closure of DRs with engineering owners to keep floor work flowing.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Spreadsheets?, * Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a technical or business field with working knowledge of cost, schedule, technical management, risk, and earned value.

  • Proficiency in Jira and Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated leadership of engineering and/or manufacturing teams.
  • Hands-on use of metrics and toolsets to manage execution.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication., * Project leadership experience.
  • BS in Aerospace, Computer, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering; Computer Science; or Electronic Design.
  • Fluency with waterfall, agile, and hybrid delivery models and how to tailor them.
  • Ability to balance multiple programs and stakeholders within schedule and resource constraints.
  • Skill at spotting execution trends early and acting proactively.
  • Knowledge of satellite systems and components.
  • Confluence experience.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance., * Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Required, Millennium is DDTC-registered, ITAR-compliant Company. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Applicants MUST be U.S. citizens and eligible for a security clearance.
