Head of MIS

WeDoData are working with an established Further Education organisation that’s looking for a Head of MIS - Systems & Reporting to take ownership of its systems, reporting and data infrastructure.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands both the technical side and the needs of an FE environment.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading the integration of key College systems, including MIS, Finance, HR and learning platforms

• Developing and improving reporting using Power BI and SSRS

• Managing and supporting a team of 2 Report Writers

• Overseeing SQL databases and developing complex reporting from multiple data sources

• Improving data quality, system performance and self-service reporting

• Supporting the wider organisation with systems, data and reporting strategy

• Strong experience working within Further Education

• Expert SQL / SQL Server skills

• Strong Power BI and SSRS experience

• Proven experience of systems integration

• Experience managing or developing a reporting/data team

• A good understanding of education MIS and complex data environments

Salary: £51,277 Annual leave: 27 days plus bank holidays Local government pension scheme Hybrid working allowance
