Front-End Developer

Role Info:

Current Tech Includes: React.js, Next.js (14+), JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.

Methodologies: Agile/Kanban, TDD/BDD, Continuous Integration and Delivery, AI-assisted development with Cursor & Claude., We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Next.js Developer to join the front-end team and drive forward the rebuild of our platform. If you are enthusiastic about creating high-quality, user-friendly applications and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you.

While we have highly skilled developers within our teams, your role will be to provide a more holistic view to our product offering. You will be working with our dev team to design efficient and future-proof interfaces, acting as a key driver for the front-end architecture. You will also be expected to leverage AI-assisted development tooling including Cursor and Claude to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and embed intelligent development practices across the team.

Requirements

You will:

• Drive forward the development of the frontend of our platform using React.js and Next.js (14+).

• Convert designs and wireframes into high-quality code.

• Optimise applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.

• Ensure consistent implementation of brand and design guidelines across all platforms.

• Develop and maintain reusable code and libraries for future use.

• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the seamless functioning of applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and user experience.

• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development practices, including Cursor and Claude, across the engineering team.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a React.js/Next.js Developer, preferably working on a SaaS product.

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

• Knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Proficiency using AI coding tools such as Cursor and Claude to write, review, refactor, and document code efficiently.

Technical Experience:

• Languages: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.

• Frameworks: React.js, Next.js (14+).
