Business Development Manager - IT Services

Robert Half are looking for a Business Development Manager to take ownership of new business for a growing IT services business.

Until now, sales has been founder-led. We’re now looking for someone who can come in, own the new business number and help build the sales function from the ground up.

This is a genuine hunter role. You’ll be responsible for generating your own pipeline, opening doors and winning new clients - initially without dedicated marketing or SDR support.

• Has a proven track record in new business within an MSP, IT consultancy, IT services or channel business
• Has experience selling recurring managed services, alongside projects and licensing
• Can confidently sell to Heads of IT, IT Directors and CFOs
• Understands conversations around Apple and Windows estates, identity, security and managed IT
• Is comfortable building their own pipeline rather than relying on inbound leads
• Has the commercial credibility to run a sales process from first conversation through to close
• Has public sector framework experience - desirable, but not essential
