Senior AI Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior AI Engineer to take a leading role in designing and delivering enterprise-grade AI solutions that make a real impact. You’ll combine deep technical expertise with collaborative leadership, working closely with product, architecture and security colleagues to ensure AI systems are safe, scalable and valuable. • Designing, building and operating scalable AI services using Python and Azure AI platforms
• Leading the development and optimisation of LLM and RAG-based solutions beyond proof of concept
• Owning MLOps and GenAIOps practices including CI/CD, monitoring and lifecycle management
• Deploying and running containerised AI services using Kubernetes and AKS
• Setting and promoting engineering standards, patterns and best practice across teams
• Coaching, mentoring and supporting other engineers to grow their skills and confidence
• Collaborating with product, architecture, security and governance stakeholders to deliver trusted AI

• Extensive hands-on experience building and running production AI and machine learning systems
• Strong Python skills and deep understanding of machine learning and evaluation fundamentals
• Proven experience delivering generative AI solutions using LLMs and RAG architectures
• Strong knowledge of Azure AI services and designing solutions for regulated environments
• Experience leading MLOps or GenAIOps practices, including CI/CD and platform automation
• Solid understanding of containerisation, Kubernetes and infrastructure as code
• Experience making and explaining complex technical decisions to varied stakeholders
• A collaborative approach with the ability to mentor others and influence positive outcomes
