Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java Engineer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java programming, experience with enterprise application development, and a passion for innovative solutions. You will play a critical role in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and high-performance applications that contribute to our business objectives., * Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java applications.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements.
  • Analyse and improve application performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs in existing applications.
  • Contribute to software architecture and design discussions, influencing technology decisions and best practices.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers and team members.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and incorporate them into solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and quality practices.
  • Write unit tests and integration tests; optimize code for performance and maintainability.
  • Document development processes, code changes, and architectural decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 4+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or similar technologies.
  • Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
  • Strong knowledge of database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and experience with ORM tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
