Job description

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, server, and connectivity issues both remotely and on-site.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and support IT hardware, software, and infrastructure components.
  • Monitor IT systems, identify deviations, and escalate or resolve issues to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions.
  • Manage IT service requests, incidents, and project-related tasks while following ITSM processes and company standards.
  • Maintain hardware and software asset inventories and documentation.
  • Create and update knowledge base articles to improve technical support efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement, quality, safety, and company initiatives.
  • Assist with IT projects, equipment deployments, system upgrades, and infrastructure enhancements.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Understanding of IT service management processes and IT support best practices.

Experience Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of IT Support, Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support experience.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems and office technology.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, network connectivity, and infrastructure issues.
  • Familiarity with IT asset management and ticketing systems preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong technical knowledge of Windows environments, hardware, and network engineering.
  • Experience with remote support tools and on-site technical support.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Analytical thinker with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team-oriented with initiative, flexibility, and a willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of ISO, IATF, security, risk analysis, and quality management standards is a plus.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and type throughout the workday.
  • Occasionally lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to travel throughout the facility to support users and IT infrastructure.
  • Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment and production environments as needed.
  • Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) when required.
