Job description

We are looking for a Senior Unity Developer to architect and own the real-time 3D experience at the core of Elysium. You will set technical standards, turn prototypes into production systems, and guide other developers while collaborating with 3D artists, backend engineers, mobile developers, and product leadership., Architect, build, and own scalable real-time 3D systems in Unity and C#.

  • Design reusable modules, establish coding standards, and lead code reviews.
  • Lead profiling and optimization across desktop, WebGL, and mobile targets.
  • Integrate REST APIs, JSON services, WebSockets, and AI-driven behaviors.
  • Partner with artists on production-ready Blender asset pipelines, materials, animation, and scene budgets.
  • Take features from rapid prototype through testing, release, monitoring, and iteration.
  • Mentor mid-level developers and communicate technical risks and trade-offs clearly.

Requirements

4+ years of relevant Unity development experience; 5+ years preferred.

  • Strong Unity and C# expertise, including architecture, UI, animation, and real-time systems.
  • A shipped or published Unity title, product, demo, or production application you can discuss.
  • Deep practical experience with profiling, memory management, rendering, and performance optimization.
  • Strong object-oriented design, debugging, Git, and collaborative development practices.
  • Experience integrating backend services and third-party SDKs.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; a Computer Science degree or equivalent practical experience.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Unreal Engine (C++ or Blueprints), Blender, HLSL/GLSL, URP, shaders, VFX, or advanced animation workflows.
  • XR/VR, multiplayer/networking, Pixel Streaming, simulation, or digital-twin experience.
  • Mobile Unity, Unity as a Library, Addressables/AssetBundles, or CI/CD automation.

Benefits & conditions

Base salary: $85,000-$108,000 per year. This range is calibrated to the broader U.S. remote market rather than premium compensation in the highest-cost technology hubs. • Health insurance.
  • 401(k) program.
