Tech Support
- Be readily available to staff and pupils for immediate resolution of everyday tech issues - printing, file sharing, downloads, internet connectivity, passwords and logins
- Provide day-to-day support to teachers with iPads, laptops, smartboards and TVs
- Support teachers in using our AI and other resources within our system
- Goodnotes: troubleshooting and management of pupil usage, issue escalation where appropriate
- Film key assemblies and events, creating short 2-minute videos in CapCut for publication on the school website
- Respond to tech issues and liaise with our external tech support company when escalation is needed
- Maintain printers and photocopiers, resolving faults and ensuring smooth day-to-day operation
Devices & Systems
- Assist with managing all tech equipment across both schools and setting up new laptops and iPads
- Carry out twice-weekly iPad audits and manage the associated leaderboard
- Help with termly device audits and device maintenance
- Apple Pencil management: keeping on top of equipment usage, sending in for repairs and replacements as appropriate
- Monitor pupil usage of laptops outside of Computing lessons
Accounts & Administration
- Assist with managing Google Drive and Google Admin e.g. password reset, 2FA, new users
- Add and remove student accounts across our various platforms
- Ensure pupils’ account passwords are kept up to date
- Help set up online exams and invigilate sessions where needed
- Input student results and keep class information up to date where relevant
We are looking for someone who is:
- A natural problem solver who enjoys getting to the root of an issue
- Confident troubleshooting Apple devices (iPad, Apple TV) and Mac laptops, with a basic understanding of Apple settings and interconnectivity
- Familiarity with Jamf, Google Drive, Google Sheets, and Canva is ideal
- Organised and reliable, with the ability to manage routine tasks alongside reactive support
- Friendly, patient communicator, comfortable supporting staff of all technical abilities
- Able to travel between two school sites during the working day
